Robotics
For as long as I can possibly remember, I've been fascinated by technology and, in particular, robotics. When I was young, my passion was primarily characterized by my unexplainable love of fans.
A very excited six year old.
“A fan” was the certain reply I emitted whenever I was asked what I wanted as a gift. From a young age, I exhibited an unexplainable affection for these rotating devices which circulate air. I remember saying “I love things that spin!” whenever I was in the presence of anything from a windmill to a record player. And although my awkward infatuation with fans has slightly diminished, it has been replaced with nothing other than my obsession with technology.
My principal project as of today is this balancing robot but I'm always working on other Robotic projects. I'm currently working on prototypes for FIRST robotics. This year's game involves a very low-traction surface and some traction control algorithm is necessary. By lucky coincidence, I researched several motor controlmethods this past summer.
